ND Dept. of Health Seeks Physician to Serve on Block Grant Advisory Committee

The North Dakota Department of Health (NDDoH) is seeking a practicing physician to serve on the Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant Committee.

The Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant provides funding for prevention programs designed to reduce death and disability, particularly relating to the Healthy People 2020 health objectives.

The committee is required by the Preventive Health and Health Services Block Grant to meet twice a year to discuss what the grant is being used for, the budget, and any federal directives that need to be considered. Meetings convene for approximately one hour.
